NC Thumbpickers Convention

Attention all music enthusiasts and guitar aficionados! Get ready to immerse yourself in a weekend of incredible talent and toe-tapping tunes at the Thumbpickers Convention, hosted by the Iredell Arts Council.

🎸 Friday Night Showcase: Wayne Henderson and Friends Kicking off the festivities on Friday night, the convention will feature a star-studded lineup including Wayne Henderson, Eddie Pennington, Parker Hastings, Caleb Coots, Clay Lunsford, and more! Doors open at 5:00 PM, with the concert starting promptly at 6:00 PM.

🎤 Saturday Open Mic and Workshops On Saturday, the stage is yours! From 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, join us for an open mic session where you can showcase your own musical talents. Plus, don't miss out on the workshops running concurrently from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, offering valuable insights and techniques from experienced musicians.

🎵 Saturday Evening Concert As the sun sets on Saturday, the excitement continues with another evening concert starting at 6:30 PM, featuring more incredible performances that are sure to leave you in awe. Musical performances by Eddie Pennington, Parker Hastings, Caleb Coots, Clay Lunsford, and more! 

🎟️ Ticket Information Tickets for the Thumbpickers Convention are available at the door for $15 per event. For access to all events throughout the weekend, including both concerts, open mic, and workshops, a special package deal is available for $25.

📍 Location The convention will take place at the Iredell Arts Council, providing a cozy and intimate setting to enjoy the music and camaraderie.
