"Ben Davis – Watch Him Fly" is set to captivate audiences with a compelling portrayal of General Benjamin O. Davis Jr., a true American hero. This riveting one-man show, starring J. Leon Pridgen II, delves deep into the remarkable journey of General Davis, from his leadership of the 99th Pursuit Squadron to his pivotal role commanding the 332nd Bombardment Group, famously known as the Tuskegee Airmen or Red Tails.

Through powerful storytelling and a poignant performance, the play not only highlights General Davis's heroic actions during World War II but also explores the personal challenges that shaped his character. Audiences will gain insight into his relentless pursuit of military integration and his significant contributions to American society beyond his military career.

Performances will be held at the Iredell Arts Council, 203 S. Meeting St, Statesville, NC 28625, from July 11th to July 14th.
